How Barb N.P. Wellness Works
Getting personalized peptide therapy from a licensed NP has never been easier. Our entire process happens online — no waiting rooms, no office visits, no hassle.
Step 1 — Complete your intake form
Start by filling out a short health history form online. It takes about 5 minutes and covers your current health status, goals, medications, and any relevant medical history. Your information is kept completely private and protected under HIPAA.
Step 2 — Consult with Barb
Once your intake is submitted, Barb personally reviews your information. In most cases, she can approve your treatment and send your prescription via secure async messaging — no video call required. If a live consultation is needed, you will be prompted to schedule a brief video call at your convenience.
Most patients are approved same day.
Step 3 — Receive your prescription
Once approved, your prescription is sent directly to our licensed compounding pharmacy partner. Your medication is compounded to your exact specifications and shipped directly to your door in discreet packaging. Most orders ship within 2-3 business days of approval.
Step 4 — Ongoing support
Your care doesn't end when your package arrives. Barb and our team are available for follow-up questions, dosing adjustments, and ongoing support throughout your treatment. We do regular check-ins to ensure your protocol is working for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is this legal?
Yes. All medications dispensed through Barb N.P. Wellness require a valid prescription issued by Barb following a proper telehealth consultation. Compounded medications are legal when prescribed by a licensed provider and dispensed by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy.
Do I need insurance?
No. Our services are cash-pay only. We do not accept or bill insurance. This keeps the process simple, fast, and private.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders ship within 2-3 business days of prescription approval. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.
What states do you serve?
We currently serve patients in California. We are actively working to expand to additional states. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when your state is added.
Is my information private?
Absolutely. Your health information is protected under HIPAA and stored securely on our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. We never sell or share your personal or medical data.
