MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is a splice variant of IGF-1 that is produced locally in muscle tissue in response to mechanical stress and damage. Unlike systemic growth factors, MGF acts directly at the site of muscle injury — activating satellite cells responsible for muscle repair and growth.
